11th Open Shinkyokushinkai Karate Championship took place at December 10,2010.
The Vice-champion of World-Cup Sensei Vasili Khudykov attended the tournament.
The tournament held in Ariel, Hechal-Tarbut Sport Palace.

Here in Japan, the record setting hot summer made us once again notice the environmental change occurring in our world. The hot summer has finally ended, and now we are enjoying the start of autumn. I assume that you are also experiencing changes in the climate of your countries.

However, this summer has been quite warmer than usual, and I believe this is another part of the environmental change that we are experiencing all over the world. As always, I would like to start my monthly greeting by thanking you all for your support and hard work for our organization.

Here in Japan, the spring has finally arrived, bringing to us the cherry blossoms, which are in full bloom. The beauty of their pink petals fills our hearts with peace. Although the season differs depending on where you live, I hope that you all are enjoying yourselves.

On March 7th, the annual WKO Dan Promotion Test was held at So-Honbu Dojo in Tokyo.
The grading panel was headed by President Shihan K. Midori as Chairman of the Grading Committee,and overseas committee members such as Shihan Brian Fitkin and others had also come to Japan to join the grading panel.
There were altogether 24 challengers attending this test, and famous competitors such as Norichika Tsukamoto, Takayuki Tsukagoshi.

The Israeli organization congritulates Sensei Gleb Rabinovich on having successfully passed the test, after which he was awarded the 4th Dan.
We wish him success in promoting and developing Shinkyokushinkai in Israel.

A Marathon--26 hours of training--was held in Petah Tikva on February, 05-06.

On 10 October 2009, a Dan-test was held in Ariel.

I hope you all are doing fine. Already one month has passed in the year, and usually this first month is quite busy for most of us, but I hope that you also are having a good time.

The organizer of the 10th All Israel Championship was Branch Chief Gleb Rabinovich. He is still young, and is working very hard for the development of the organization.
